Kim Delaney, an American actress best known as Detective Diane Russell on ABC's NYPD Blue series, for which she won the Emmy Award. She is best known for her performance as a character in All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Delaney was the sole child of the United Auto Workers executive and his wife, a household worker. Her upbringing was in a home that included four brothers.
